水曜日の主要インデックスは寄りで小幅上昇したが、四半期報告書や会社のニュースによって売り買い交錯となった。ナスダックは0.2%下落。ダウ平均とS&P 500は共にわずかに上昇。
出来高は火曜日に取引に対して、ナスダックでは30％を減ったが、NYSEは5％の増加となった。
本日の株式市場はナスダックが200日移動平均線の抵抗線4800ポイントレベルを試すでしょう。
株価では、ボーイング（BA）とディズニー（DIS）が牽引し、ダウは1％以上上昇。高級スポーツカーメーカーのフェラーリ（RACE）の初日の取引は6％の上昇となった。
Leading indexes turned Wednesday’s modest opening gains to mixed and busy action, powered primarily by quarterly reports and company news. The Nasdaq backed out of a narrow advance and slipped 0.2%. The Dow Jones industrial average and the S&P 500 each clung to fractional gains.
Volume swept up 30% on the Nasdaq and rose 5% on the NYSE, gauged against trade at the same time Tuesday.
The stock market today had its little drama sketched out as the Nasdaq rose to test resistance at its 200-day moving average, near the 4800 level.
In stocks,Boeing (NYSE:BA) and Walt Disney (NYSE:DIS) led the Dow, up more than 1% apiece. Exotic car maker Ferrari (NYSE:RACE) throttled up 6% in its first day of trade.
